The Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission presents, in conjunction with the Cultural Alliance, Virginia Commission for the Arts, and Americans for the Arts, a networking event and panel discussion, Creative Conversations—ARTS ARE GOOD FOR BUSINESS on February 11, 2010 from 5-7 PM. If you wish to know why the arts are a valuable revenue building tool for businesses and tourism, come hear this powerful panel of women in the arts and an artistic director who has nurtured many students to become notable women in the arts.
Panelists include Hugh Copeland, Founder and Artistic Director of the Hurrah Players, Nicole Jenkins of the Virginia Opera, Karen Rudd from City of Norfolk and Deborah Wyld of Norfolk Southern Foundation. Raymond Jones of WHRO will be moderating the panel.
